Indigenous Land Acknowledgement

Kindness Cafe + Play acknowledges and honors the Monacan Nation as the original inhabitants of the land now known as Charlottesville, VA. We encourage our community to learn more about the Monacan Nation, engage with the contemporary leaders, and visit the ancestral museum in nearby Amherst County.
